I've Been Slacking...Oppsy

So its been way to long since I have blogged but we have been busy bee's since we decided to do a theater room. We have been working on it every night since last Monday and I would say we are about 85 percent done already. Its amazing how fast you can get a project done if you really put your mind to it. The only things we have left to do is mount the speakers and touch up some of the walls.

Last week the major part was getting the room painted which isnt all that easy when you use a really dark paint. But Seth finished it up over the weekend while I was in Fort Worth for Jen's bachelorette party. Then Sunday, when I got home I helped, haha ok maybe supervised while he hung the projector up. And yesterday we hung the screen. I thought this would take us months to get done, kind of like our painting the house project that we have yet to finish but we have made a lot of progress and will hopefully be done by the beginning of next week so we can watch a movie, YAY fun. Well that's all the update on the theater room for now but here are a couple of pics of our progess.

    The brown looks really good. It looks like he got the projector mounted, too. I guess he figured out how to do it without mounting wood. I'm jealous of your projects. I have Grace's room and my room to do. I have all of these ideas, and they just aren't coming together. I did get paint chips yesterday, but can't really paint with a two year old, and can't paint after she goes to bed becuase it is her room!! Plus my back and side hurt and I'm not sure painting is a good idea. Okay...I'm done feeling sorry for myself!

    Well thank you. I was a little nervous just because it was such a dark color but I think it turned out really well. And yeah he figured out how to mount the projector but the funny part was after he had drilled a whole through the ceiling he was like, you know what I really didnt need to make a whole in the ceiling lol. Guess we will worry about that later haha.

    And thats exciting about painting yours and Grace's room. Its always fun planning the projects but not so much starting and finishing them haha. I'm just ready to not have any projects and just relax but that will come soon enough.

    But yeah I can imagine it being even harder of a project with a Grace who I'm sure wants to help you paint :-) Well I hope your back starts to get better soon and hopefully we will get to see you guys soon as well. Talk to you later
